Tonight, Spanish Television will kick off one of its most anticipated formats this season: Bake off: famous people in the oven. After the great success achieved by Masterchef season after season, the public channel wanted to bet on another cooking format starring different famous faces and whose main dish will be sweets.
The contest will be presented by Paula Vázquez and will feature a long list of celebrities, who will have to demonstrate their great culinary skills in the kitchen of the program to win the title of best pastry chef in Spain.
One of the contestants who is causing the most talk is Alba Carrillo. The model was one of the most emblematic faces of Telecinco, but after the earthquake of changes made by the new board, the Madrid native was fired from Mediaset a few months ago. This situation led to a legal battle between Carrillo and the audiovisual group and Ana Rosa Quintana herself, which she finally managed to win.
Now, on the occasion of the imminent premiere, the model gave an interview to the media outlet El Televisero in which she opened up about the entire controversy that arose with the TardeAR presenter. ”It has been a hard few months, I have cried a lot because it seemed unfair to me. I am very realistic with myself, I cannot be in a mathematics contest, but I can be on television, it is my medium. I enjoy it a lot here and it seemed very unfair to me not to be able to work with the desire I have,’ she confessed.
Carrillo assured that he had nothing personal against the audiovisual group’s team or against the production company’s team because “many of them were very fond of him,” although he clarified that “he didn’t like the boss.” ”She recorded me and played a trick on me that is not done to anyone, to any worker. Things are not done like that, ma’am. “Go buy Airbnb apartments,” he asserted.
Regarding a hypothetical future in which the model had to face Ana Rosa Quintana in a contest, Alba Carrillo confessed that she would participate even if she did not like her. ”I don’t like her (…) she would try to burn the dishes,” she said.
