Barcelona winger Raphinha will miss the final of the Spanish Super Cup, which the Barça team will play this Sunday against Real Madrid at the Al Awwal Park in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), due to an injury to the femoral biceps of his left leg.

Raphinha was injured in the semifinal match against Osasuna and was relieved in the 42nd minute by Lamine Yamal, who ended up scoring the Barcelona team’s second goal.

The Brazilian attacker, who left the stadium crestfallen, underwent medical tests this Friday that confirmed that he suffers from “an injury to the femoral biceps of his left leg”, which is why he is out for this Sunday’s classic, according to the Barcelona entity through a statement.

The withdrawal time is not specified. It didn’t seem like a major injury but he could be out for about a month.

Without Raphinha there is a free place in the starting eleven. Lamine Yamal seems like the main candidate because it is the most natural change and he offered good performance against Osasuna.
