Reviews on the internet, that space where customers can express their opinion about the service and food, are not always justified. The anonymity of many users, who comment negatively to create a bad reputation, raises blisters among businessmen and workers, who often end up denouncing the lies published.

This is the latest case reported by Soy Camarero through its X account (formerly Twitter), which includes a waitress’s complaint about the malicious review that had appeared about her on the internet.

“The food is a ten, the waiter is another ten, but the new waitress is a person with serious problems,” says this customer.

According to him, he would not have received correct treatment from the employee: “I have had to stop going because of her constant mistreatment of me. It’s a shame, really. I hope they change staff soon so I can taste my snails again.”

However, this review was not accidental, according to Soy Camarero. “This is the review that my ex-husband’s partner made when I started working at the restaurant where I am more than a year and a half ago. It could have done a lot of damage, because he has never set foot in the restaurant. This should be punished,” he says.

Furthermore, he assures that, despite his complaints, there has been no way to remove the comment: “I reported to Google but that review is still there. It’s a shame.”
