The camera of a taxi has captured the brutal head-on collision with a kamikaze on the A-1 highway in Madrid, images later published by Social Drive, the social network where thousands of drivers share information about the state of the roads.
In the video, you can see how the vehicles circulate on the three lanes of the highway that connects Madrid with Burgos, Vitoria and San Sebastián. Although the time is not detailed, the incident would have occurred at night.
Suddenly, the two vehicles driving in front of the taxi begin to brake. One of them, the one driving in the left lane, turns on his emergency lights when he notices a kamikaze driver driving in the opposite direction.
The vehicle traveling in the center lane also realizes that a user is heading towards them at high speed on the A-1 highway, near Jarama (Madrid), and turns on the left turn signal to avoid him.
The taxi driver recording the scene, further away from the other vehicles, does not have time to react. In fact, as seen in the video published by this social network, he moves towards the right lane, right in which the kamikaze driver is driving.
Beyond the video, the extent of the accident is unknown: if there are injuries or fatalities or if there are more vehicles involved at another height on the highway.
