Jacobo Ostos returned this Wednesday to Y Ahora Sonsoles to give his version of what happened with the mysterious drawing that Picasso gave to his father, Jaime Ostos, and that now comes to light that its whereabouts are unknown. In fact, the bullfighter’s widow, Mari Ángeles Grajal, has also been forceful about it.

And, according to the program, this painting does exist, something that his son Jacobo categorically denies. So much so, that the young man tried to explain what caused so much controversy and commotion. Money, that’s the problem.

Nobody in Jaime Ostos’ family knows anything about any Picasso. However, and now Sonsoles has confirmed its existence, shown it on camera, and even appraised its value. It could be between 18,000 and 20,000 euros. The mysterious painting was a gift from Picasso to the bullfighter after a bullfight in Nîmes.

However, Jacobo Ostos denies that this drawing exists, despite the investigation of the Antena 3 Television program. “I have no idea,” he answers first. “Haven’t you seen it?” they ask him. “No. If they give that to my father when he bullfights in Nimes, he will have stayed in the houses of Seville,” he clarified. “My brothers are only interested in money,” he said.

Jacobo Ostos denied that there was any painting, something that was also confirmed by Mari Ángeles Grabal, the bullfighter’s widow, who in statements to Europa Press was extremely upset about this issue. “It is unfortunate that you make television programs with so much lies and falsehood,” she said.

Added to this is the exchange of accusations between brothers over inheritance. Gabriela Guillén accuses Jacobo Ostos of preventing her from accessing his father’s things, while he calls the woman interested.
