The terrible event in Morata de Tajuña (Madrid) has shocked the entire country. The brothers Amelia (68 years old), Ángeles (70) and Pepe (72) Gutiérrez Ayuso were found dead this past Thursday inside their home with signs of violence and semi-burned.

At this time, the authorities continue to collect all kinds of evidence to clarify the facts. But according to the first information that has emerged from this brutal homicide, everything seems to indicate that the murder of Tajuña’s brothers would have been due to a settling of accounts related to the enormous debts that the sisters had for an alleged love scam.

This Friday, the Sonsoles Ónega program announced that investigators already had a suspect: a Pakistani man who would have lived with the brothers at their home. According to several acquaintances of the brothers, the suspect left the family around 60,000 euros a year ago. A huge debt that caused a serious confrontation between both parties. And the suspect, who attacked one of the sisters with a hammer, was arrested at the time, but they ended up releasing him.

The Antena 3 space connected live with José, one of the people who knew the brothers best. But before giving way to this man’s testimony, the program reporter revealed that the brothers had been asking for money in all the bars in the municipality in recent months.

Regarding the alleged suspect, José revealed that he had crossed paths with him on several occasions. ”He hit Amelia with a hammer a year ago and the municipal police came and arrested him,” he declared. ”The last time I saw this man was before the fight, then they arrested him and I haven’t seen him here anymore,” he stated. The neighbor said that it was his cousin who notified the police, since the brothers had not shown any signs of life for days.

Furthermore, José asserted that the residents of the municipality had warned the sisters on several occasions that everything was a scam. ”We told them that they were trying to deceive them, but they were in their world that it was true and that the others were wrong. They were a wealthy family and they had no financial problems and look how they ended up, it’s a shame… You feel helpless because if they had listened,’ he confessed.
