Flood of criticism against Andrea from 'Temptation Island' for her latest statements: "It's abuse"

The new edition of Temptation Island has already left great television moments. One of the clear protagonists, although her time has been short, has been Andrea, who arrived in paradise to test her love with Álvaro, who had been unfaithful to her on several occasions and the trust between them was at rock bottom.

The youngest of the group, who had sparked a great controversy due to the age difference with her boyfriend, soon became very insecure with Álvaro’s behavior. And this lack of confidence transformed into verbal and gestural aggression that did not go unnoticed by anyone. “You’re going to be alone,” she told him after understanding that the boy had crossed all limits by dancing at the first party.

During the broadcast of the episodes in which she appeared, the networks were filled with comments claiming that she mistreated her partner. Faced with these accusations, Andrea has not remained silent. She has chosen Instagram as her battlefield, responding with a mixture of sarcasm and disdain to her detractors: “To all of you who call me an abuser, that I have Álvaro locked up, that I have him like a dog, that I am not going to let him go. .. yes, I have him kidnapped.”

But the young woman has not stopped there. She has also involved a goat to make fun of all those who claim that she has had a toxic relationship with Álvaro: “I have him in a room with a goat that hits him every time she says my name.”

These statements, although said in an ironic tone, have not been well received on social networks. Critical voices have been raised that question the double standard in the perception of abuse, depending on whether it is carried out by a man or a woman: “A guy says it and instead of laughing seriously, as it should be.”

Others have gone one step further and have agreed that Andrea should go to a specialist to be able to control her anger: “Andrea needs professional help, laughing at her thanks is not good for her. Be careful not to normalize her behavior.”

Despite the criticism, others have pointed out that Andrea has great television potential. In this sense, they maintain that, if he manages to control his aggressive impulses, he could become a reality TV star as other Temptation Island contestants such as Fani, Tom Brusse, Manuel y Lucía, Naomi or Andrea have already done.
