During an interview with Jordi Évole on his ‘La Sexta’ program this Sunday, C. Tangana addressed the possibility of a future collaboration with the renowned artist Rosalía.

The intriguing statement arose when Évole asked the singer about the couple of children who appear in his video clip “Tú mestope de amor.” Faced with Évole’s suggestion that the girl in the video could be Rosalía, C. Tangana responded enigmatically: “I have never been with Rosalía sitting in a park in Madrid sharing music on the cell phone.”

The conversation evolved into the topic of possible musical collaborations, and Évole asked the artist how much money a record company could put on the table for a new collaboration. C. Tangana’s response was intriguing: “The other day a producer told me this. Not long ago, in some studios in Madrid.” When asked directly by Évole about whether such collaboration could occur, C. Tangana mysteriously concluded: “Anything can happen in this life.”

This potential musical meeting between C. Tangana and Rosalía would not be the first time they have worked together. Both artists, representatives of the new generation of Iberian composers, collaborated before achieving international fame and had a love relationship that began with their mutual love for each other’s music.

Although the romantic relationship ended in May 2018, their artistic collaboration was fruitful, producing songs like “Antes de muerteme” and “Call me later.” It should be noted that C. Tangana was a creative influence on Rosalía’s album “El mal qué”, co-writing 8 of the 11 songs on the album.

The history between C. Tangana and Rosalía has been complex, but the possible reunion in the musical field has generated expectation among their followers, fueling the possibility that these two leaders of Spanish music will once again unite their talents.
