The perfection of Inca architecture is astonishing, with examples of rock carving unparalleled in history. It is especially surprising when we know that each piece can weigh a hundred tons or more, that they did not know the wheel to move them and that there is no conclusive evidence that they used metal tools to carve them, so they surely did it by hitting stone against stone or by abrasion. .
However, the Inca walls that were not dismantled have survived the usual earthquakes in the Andean area and the passage of centuries. The archaeological remains beyond the majestic Machu Picchu are witnesses of this.
