Carmen Borrego’s recent departure from Survivors 2024 has raised some eyebrows. After receiving a diagnosis of anxiety from the medical team, she was asked to leave the reality show, which has led some to question whether it was really necessary for her to leave the program.
Joaquín Prat, in the latest Let’s See program, was skeptical about the seriousness of Borrego’s condition, suggesting that his rapid recovery after returning to Spain could indicate a discrepancy with the diagnosis made in Honduras.
Since her return to Spain, the way in which the collaborator has resumed her normal life has generated many reproaches. The truth is that Borrego has been on all the sets that have been proposed to her, in part because she unknowingly came across an open war against José María Almoguera, her son, and Paola Olmedo, her still daughter-in-law.
“It is true that, since Carmen arrives and finds what she found about her son, not enough has been said about the reasons why she is given this medical leave. Carmen then comes back very recovered, right?” Prat commented in response to the collaborator’s intense television activity.
For his part, Kike Calleja defended his partner by providing his testimony based on his direct experience in the program: “What I have experienced there with her is that she has been quite bad and I know that she has had panic attacks and has been quite upset. ”.
Despite the explanations of the third person expelled from the contest, who was one of Borrego’s great supporters in Honduras, Prat remained firm in his questioning: “They give you a leave and you arrive in Spain and there is no longer a leave…”.
Marta López and Alexia Rivas, who have been on the program in previous editions, also wanted to contribute their point of view on the difficulties of adaptation after leaving the program. López emphasized the difference between life on a desert island and the environment of a television set, while Rivas shared his own personal experience: “I had an anxiety attack that I couldn’t even feel in my legs. If you’re sick for a one thing you are for another.”
