A driver destroyed a Ferrari early on Tuesday when he crashed into a tree at number 89 Paseo de la Castellana, between Nuevos Ministerios and the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.
The driver tested positive for alcohol and will be investigated for a crime against road safety, according to municipal police sources. The co-pilot had to be treated by the Samur services.
The crash has gone viral, since the social drive account spread it on social networks such as X (formerly Twitter) and some Internet users joked that the formula one grand prix will arrive in Madrid in two years.
It is a vehicle valued at around 400,000 euros, which was destroyed.
