This Friday, Spain will continue to be under the influence of a powerful anticyclone, which will leave very high temperatures for the time of year and an absence of precipitation, according to the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

However, the agency expects the approach of an Atlantic front today that will leave intervals of medium and high clouds in the northern third, without ruling out some weak precipitation.

In addition, abundant low cloudiness is expected in the Northern plateau, Galicia, valleys of the Southern plateau, depressions in the northeast, with the probability of causing morning fog. It also foresees coastal fogs around the Strait and in the Gulf of Valencia.

Given the formation of these significant fogs, the yellow warning (risk) has been activated in five autonomous communities: Catalonia, Castilla y León, the Balearic Islands, Galicia and Aragón.

The maximum temperatures will only give a respite in much of the northern and eastern halves of the peninsula, where a drop is expected. Instead, they will ascend in the Ebro valley and northwest of the Northern plateau. In the rest of the country, no significant or even minimal changes are expected.

This Friday, anomalous values ??will continue to be recorded for the time of year, more typical of spring. The maximum temperature of 20 degrees will be greatly exceeded in many points: Albacete, Almería, Badajoz, Ávila, Alicante, Cáceres, Cádiz, Castellón, Córdoba, Cuenca, Girona, Granda, Guadalajara, Huelva, Jaén, Málaga, Murcia or Almería.

This spring weather is expected to continue over the weekend, although with some rain on the Cantabrian coast. According to the Aemet forecast, temperatures will tend to rise on Saturday in the Cantabrian area and will fall in the rest of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
