Three people died and three others were seriously injured early this Saturday when, apparently, a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction at kilometer 19 of the A-3 highway in the exit direction, at the Rivas-Vaciamadrid level, hit another.

In the first car there was only one person traveling, a 37-year-old man, who died, while in the second there were five people, two of whom had died when the emergency services arrived.

Regarding the three injured, all had multiple injuries and their prognosis is serious. This is a 27-year-old man who was transferred by Samur-Civil Protection to the Gregorio Marañón Hospital; a 22-year-old man transferred by Summa112 to Ramón y Cajal; and a 19-year-old woman transferred by Summa112 to La Paz.

Firefighters from the Community of Madrid carried out the necessary work to remove the three deceased from the vehicles and carried out road cleaning work. For its part, the Civil Guard was in charge of investigating what happened and regulating traffic in the area.
