The participation of Basques in the election day this Sunday, until 6:00 p.m., has risen to 51% of the census, according to the actual participation information sent by the 2,695 tables. Almost 15 points more than in 2020.
As reported by the Security Councilor, Josu Erkoreka, at six in the afternoon the district with the highest percentage of votes was Vizcaya with 51.9% of the votes. Guipúzcoa follows with 50.7% and in Álava 48.7% of the electoral roll voted.
Regarding the percentage of votes cast in the main capitals of the Basque Country, the one with the greatest division has been Vitoria with 51.5% of the census. The highest voting percentage was registered in Donostia, with 51.5%. In Bilbao, 50.3% of the electorate have voted, while in Vitoria the number of voters has been 47.8%.
