This Monday, Laura Pausini conquered the more than ten thousand fans who came to the Palau Sant Jordi. The Italian artist stood on stage to sing the songs from her new album, Parallel Souls. But “the most Spanish in the world” also had room for hits like Se fue, Amores stranges or La Solitude.
The Italian did not lack gestures towards her followers either. Especially emotional was the moment when she brought a baby on stage. With the little one on her lap, she sang Así Celeste, a song in which she talks about the great life change that comes with having a child.
The boy was also surprised when Pausini began to sing. Despite being surrounded by thousands of people and next to the torrent of the artist’s voice, the only thing that caught the little one’s attention was the microphone. “It’s normal that he likes it, plus I wear strawberry lipstick,” the singer joked.
Pausini finished off the moment by singing a piece of Whitney Houston’s well-known song, I Will Always Love You. And he returned the little one to his parents.
“Laura Pausini being Laura Pausini. Just her, being authentic. I love you. Thank you for the concert in Barcelona,” writes one of her followers, who captured the emotional moment and shared it on her social networks.
Pausini is immersed in the tour of her latest work Parallel Souls, with which she will tour the main European, South American and North American cities. The artist plans to end her Laura Pausini World Tour 2023-2024 with a concert in spring at New York’s Square Garden.
