The controversy between Mar Flores and Carlo Costanzia has taken a more tense turn after Carlo’s father, Carlo Costanzia Sr., issued a strong statement denying the former model’s statements and announcing possible legal actions.
This exchange of statements was unleashed when Mar Flores shared details about her son’s first years of life in a recent interview.
In the statement, Carlo Costanzia Sr. expresses his annoyance at the reopening of old controversies and the lack of respect towards his late father and sick mother. Furthermore, he emphasizes that the aforementioned facts were already denied in previous divorce and custody proceedings.
With indignation, Carlo Costanzia Sr. declares: “Facts dating back more than 20 years are being brought to light again, not to mention the petty lack of respect towards my deceased father and towards my very sick mother, for the sole purpose of to rekindle sterile and useless controversies. All of the aforementioned facts have already been completely denied in the divorce and custody proceedings. This interview clearly expresses Mrs. Mar Flores’ willingness to “relive” events that, in my opinion, would be better left in the drawers of the past, and also contradicting her latest statements of not wanting to get into controversy. “I will present the pertinent complaints.”
All this controversy resurfaces after Mar Flores, in a recent interview with SEMANA magazine, stated that the father of her son left the young man living with his grandparents while he collected alimony, accusing him of not having paid said alimony for 12 years. She also pointed out that Carlo, her son, returned from Italy in 2007 with dependency problems and without having attended school during those years.
This is not the first time that Mar Flores sheds light on the disagreements with her ex-husband. Previously, in the same interview, she emphasized that Carlo Costanzia was the one who brought the family disputes to the television sets, discrediting her as her mother. To these accusations, Carlo’s father responds with a firm denial and a promise to take legal action.
The conflict between Mar Flores and Carlo Costanzia adds to a long history of disagreements that began with their separation in 1994 and that has led to legal disputes and public accusations over the years.
The situation has become relevant again with recent statements from both parties and Carlo Costanzia Sr.’s promise to take legal action to defend his version of events.
