Police from the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the North Metropolitan Police Region (RPMN) are investigating the violent death of an occupied house last night in Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelonès North).
Around 10:00 p.m., the agents received a notice informing them that there was a fight inside a store on San Silvestre Street in Santa Coloma de Gramenet and that, as a result of this incident, a man I would be injured on public roads.
The Mossos d’Esquadra and the Medical Emergency System (SEM) went to the scene. The EMS performed resuscitation efforts on the injured person but they could not save his life.
DIC agents, who arrested a 27-year-old man allegedly related to the events, have taken charge of the investigation.
According to El Caso, the brawl occurred over a debt in an occupied house. The deceased is a 35-year-old man whom the detainee allegedly hit on the head with a bottle. Both are of foreign nationality.
