An incredible gesture of generosity from a supermarket employee in Estepona has brought immense joy to a 73-year-old woman who had forgotten 13,325 euros when she was shopping in the establishment.
The woman carried the enormous amount of money in a small toiletry bag, but she did not remember to take it and left it abandoned in the basket inside the supermarket after paying for the products she had bought that day.
Fortune wanted a very honest worker to find the small bag with the money and inform the person in charge of the store and then contact the National Police and finally get it to the woman who had lost it.
And the lady had a real loot inside her toiletry bag that amounted to a total of 13,225 euros in cash made up of several 50, 10 and euro bills.
The National Police agents investigated who the owner of the toiletry bag could be and finally contacted the affected woman, who immediately went to the local police station with her children to recover the lost fortune.
Joy then flooded this woman, who was able to recover an immense amount of money that if it had fallen into other hands she might never have seen again.
