In a video that has quickly gone viral, the actor introduces his three alpacas: Kate, Electra and Sharona. According to his testimony, the first two are quite friendly, but Sharona has a more complicated character. “She has never given me the time,” says Bacon to illustrate how unfriendly the alpaca can be.
In an attempt to win the affection of the elusive alpaca, he has decided to dedicate a ukulele version of My Sharona by The Knack. “If this doesn’t get Sharona’s attention, I don’t know what will,” Bacon comments in the video, illustrating her efforts to improve her bond with the reluctant animal.
The outcome of this particular concert is not as expected. Despite the apparent curiosity that Sharona shows about Bacon’s performance, as she watches the actor attentively throughout the song, when he extends his hand in an approach gesture, the alpaca makes an evasive maneuver, leaving the actor with his hand extended and a resigned smile in front of the camera.
TikTok users have filled the comments section talking about the alpaca’s reaction. “It seems like she knows that the song is about her and that she is a queen,” one user commented. Another user has pointed out the possibility that Sharona, despite her initial apparent indifference, is actually delighted with the serenade, playing at ignoring her while secretly delighting in the song dedicated exclusively to her.
