The head of the Court of First Instance of Instruction 4 of Catarroja (Valencia), acting as guard, has decreed the entry into provisional prison, communicated and without bail for the man arrested for fatally stabbing another screwdriver.
The detainee is being investigated in an open case, initially and without prejudice to a subsequent classification, for a crime of homicide and which will continue under investigation in the same judicial body, the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV) has reported.
The Civil Guard arrested a 44-year-old man this Friday as the alleged perpetrator of the death of another, 38, during an argument in the Valencian municipality of Catarroja, stabbing him in the head with a screwdriver.
According to the Civil Guard, the events occurred early Thursday morning and the victim was admitted in a very serious condition to the La Fe Hospital in València, where he died that same afternoon.
