The Benidorm Fest 2024 has concluded the search for Spain’s next representative in Eurovision. Among the eight proposals classified for the grand final, the Nebulossa duo has been chosen to travel to Malmo on May 11, thus succeeding Blanca Paloma and Chanel.

As in previous years, the label

One of the most criticized aspects, in the absence of sound errors, has been the presenters. Ruth Lorenzo, Marc Calderó and Ana Prada have not managed to engage the public due to their lack of complicity and continued errors during their interventions.

Thus, as can be read in X, it seems that there has been a general embarrassment among the presenters. “Oh, the spontaneous dialogues of the presenters,” one user complained. Another Internet user has also suspended them and replied that they are “a nightmare”, that they are “boring” and that they are “bland”.

In addition to the presenters, they also did not like the treatment that RTVE has given to Chanel and Blanca Paloma, the artists who managed to win the festival in the two previous editions to become the Spanish representatives in Eurovision.

Neither one nor the other have been sung in the grand final. As if this were not enough, Abraham Mateo, one of the guest artists, has sung a song alone that he shares with Chanel. “What is denounceable is that RTVE treats the winners of previous years so badly…”, a user has complained. Of course, Blanca Paloma has participated in the final, giving the winners’ trophy to Nebulossa.

They will be the Spanish representatives in Eurovision and nothing less. The Nebulossa duo was one of the great sensations of the final. María Bas and Mark Dasousa have conquered the public of the Benidorm Fest, both virtual and those who have attended the Palau d’Esports l’Illa de Benidorm.

The in-person audience has not hesitated to sing out loud Zorra, something that has moved Internet users: “When the lady puts the microphone on the audience and everyone shouts I AM EVEN MORE BITCH.” Another, accompanied by a video of what has happened happened in the pavilion, he assured that “the stadium collapsed” when the performance ended.

The furor unleashed by Nebulossa, however, has not gone down well everywhere. Some of the Benidorm Fest spectators have complained bitterly that the public has sung the song along with the duo, since it has not allowed them to hear the song correctly.

The networks have been relentless with the artists who have reached the final of the Benidorm Fest. A good majority of X users have agreed that, in general terms, the actions have been weak. “People saying that this final is great, is the final great in this room?” one user has asked ironically.

Another user has followed this same line, who was also not very happy with the level exhibited in the final. “The chances we have of doing well at Eurovision this year,” he announces using a gif that shows a 0. However, another Internet user reminded him that Zorra, from Nebulossa, has lived up to it.
