Sebastián Yatra not only makes headlines for his musical successes. The Colombian singer has also starred in some famous romances with stars such as the Argentine Tini Stoessel and the Catalan Aitana Ocaña, but on few occasions he has spoken out about the reasons for his breakup in both relationships.

Yatra now breaks his silence to clarify the reasons that motivated the break with Argentina. “When a relationship of this type becomes so big, it is exciting, because it is like a romantic movie and you are the protagonist. But you also see that you are only part of that story. I was somewhat immature and I was not at the right time for that. I felt like I was losing my individuality,” he explains in an interview with GQ Mexico.

The singer has made it clear that there were no third parties, as pointed out by some information that linked him to the actress Danna Paola, popular for her role in Elite: “We never exchanged flirtatious messages at any time. However, I think that even today “There are people who think I was with her.”

The Colombian assures that, “suddenly, he became the villain of the movie, for no apparent reason.” “I got a lot of criticism,” he recalls. And he assures that he is affected by what people think about him.

Stoessel and Yatra ended their relationship in May 2020. And they announced it through a joint statement on their social networks: “Hello… we wanted to tell you that Tini and I decided to end the relationship. We lived beautiful moments, but sometimes things don’t “they occur as one imagines them.”

The composer rules out any reconciliation with Argentina. “No, no, no, I am very fond of Tini, but no,” he said in statements to Europa Press.

Also asked about his relationship with Aitana, the singer explained that they have “always” been “very friends and that makes things a little easier.” He only wishes him the greatest of happiness.
