Luis Vicente Rico, better known as Pinocchio, has become a headache for Anabel Pantoja. A few days ago, the Sevillian filed a lawsuit against the influencer to claim the right to bear his last name by claiming to be the son of Bernardo Pantoja.

A hard setback for Anabel Pantoja, who must undergo DNA tests to confirm whether or not Luis is her brother, since her father has died. Isabel Pantoja’s niece would not have been willing to solve the problem amicably, so Rico would have had to opt for judicial means.

The Sevillian put the matter in the hands of the law firm of Fernando Osuna, who has dealt with cases such as that of Manuel Benítez ‘El Cordobés’ or that of Javier Santos with Julio Iglesias. According to Osuna, there would be plenty of reasons to prove that the Sevillian is who he says he is. Furthermore, according to the lawyer, Pinocchio has “the support of one of the most influential members of the Pantoja family.”

Last Wednesday Semana magazine brought up the issue of the lawsuit filed by Luis Rico for Anabel Pantoja, to which they had full access. In this, it is recounted in detail how the plaintiff’s mother and Bernardo Pantoja met, revealing that they had an intermittent relationship for several years from which, presumably, the young man was born.

A relationship that would have arisen in their adolescence, both born and raised in Tardón, a well-known neighborhood in Triana. The romance did not work out at first, with both living their lives separately. Rico’s mother married in Almería, where she was the mother of a girl. However, she could not adapt, and she made a series of “getaways” in which she met, supposedly, Bernardo Pantoja.

As explained in the lawsuit written by Osuna, one of these escapades resulted in a pregnancy, which Rico’s mother communicated to her then husband, with whom she no longer had a married life. Shortly after Luis Rico’s birth, in 1984, they separated from her and she moved with her two children to Seville.

It is here where, according to Osuna, the first detail of the kinship relationship between Pinocchio and Bernardo Pantoja would be seen: the father traveled from Almería to Seville to pick up his daughter and spend time with her, something that “he never did with Don Luis.” . The lawyer is firm: “he never received a gift from the person who gave him his last name.”

The lawyer continues to explain in the lawsuit that the relationship between Pinocchio’s mother and Bernardo Pantoja was popular in Triana. According to his testimony, Bernardo even recognized to a press photographer that Luis was his son “in an interview that was recorded.”

If the parentage tests finally turn out to be positive, Luis Vicente Rico will be recognized as the son of Bernardo and, therefore, brother of Anabel Pantoja, who would no longer be an only child. Even so, nothing seems to indicate that there will be any type of relationship between them, something that Anabel has refused every time the Sevillian has tried to establish contact with her.
