The most romantic program on the small screen, First Dates, aired its Carnival special on Tuesday night. Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed a new batch of singles to the restaurant, who did not hesitate to give it their all in a night full of samba, dancing and lots and lots of fun. And the party spirit of Carnival has been present from minute one thanks to Olga, a 44-year-old single woman who was called “the Caribbean from the Baltic.”
”I have Cuban blood, but I grew up in Latvia. I carry the essence of the two seas,’ she explained. He considered himself a sapiosexual person because what attracted him most in a man was his intellect. But her surprises with the bachelorette did not end there, since she was determined to welcome her date with a great musical performance.
His date was going to be Joao, a 45-year-old translator of Portuguese origin whose greatest virtue was generating a lot of trust in people. ”Many people sometimes have a shield and I manage to open it in a natural and easy way,” he declared. But as soon as he entered the restaurant door, the bachelor was in for the biggest surprise. ”I was amazed, I loved everything about her (…) she is an attractive girl,” he declared as soon as he saw Olga’s performance.
”I found him to be a beautiful and elegant person,” the single woman confessed after meeting Joao. Suddenly, Carlos Sobera appeared on the scene to accompany the couple to her table. Once seated, the singles began the evening talking about their origins. ”He made me laugh, that’s good,” Olga stressed.
In love, neither of them had had much luck, since they had not managed to fit perfectly with anyone. ”I like that she is an attractive girl, that she looks you in the eyes and that she speaks to you sincerely,” he commented.
At one point during dinner, Joao was very interested in knowing how Olga liked men. ”You answer the question because I need to eat,” she said. ”I have to like him physically and for him to be playful, for him to look me in the eyes, for him to be sensual, for him to look at me the way you are looking at me,” confessed the Portuguese.
”He hasn’t just looked me in the eyes,” the single woman asserted. Furthermore, the bachelor’s continuous gestures and bold comments made Olga blush, as she claimed to be a rather shy person.
In the final stretch of the evening, Olga discovered that Joao had made three trios. ”Seeing another person enjoy myself with me is crazy,” he explained. ”I have seen desire, there has been a connection,” commented Joao. Likewise, the bachelor claimed that one of his greatest sexual fantasies was with mirrors. ”I like the reflection, it turns me on,” he said. ”I also like mirrors,” declared Olga. Therefore, in the final decision there were no surprises and both decided to continue getting to know each other.
