Good news for the Serrat family: Candela, Joan Manuel Serrat’s youngest daughter, has announced that she will become a mother for the second time with her husband, actor Daniel Muriel. The couple was in charge of communicating the news to their followers, which they did through their social networks with a fun message accompanied by a photo of an ultrasound of the baby surrounded by other pictures in which both their daughter and them appear.
“Where three fit, four fit,” the couple writes in the publication, which also added a quote from Carl Sagan to communicate the news, which says: “Given the immensity of time and the immensity of the universe, it is a great pleasure for me share a planet and a time with you”.
This will not be Candela Serrat and Daniel Muriel’s first experience as parents, as they both made their debut in the task in July 2020 with the arrival of their first-born, Mérida. The acting couple could not be happier, as this completes their family with a new member, whose sex is still unknown.
Muriel and the daughter of the Catalan composer met due to their career in the world of acting. They were both filming the series Six Sisters on Spanish Television, and love arose. Three years later, the couple said “I do” in an original and fun wedding in Menorca.
The couple has shared their personal life, but also several professional projects, such as the play An Ideal Husband. Both have, however, maintained a very discreet profile regarding their relationship, although they are not hiding.
They are prone to attending movie premieres, red carpets and awards together; in addition to showing themselves without hesitation on their social networks, where they are very active and where they let their followers see some of their day-to-day anecdotes.
Now, with this new pregnancy, her happiness multiplies. The baby joins Joan Manuel Serrat’s brood of grandchildren, who form the influencer Luna Serrat (27), Lucía (Queco Serrat’s daughters), María Serrat’s three children, who live in Australia; and Mérida (3), who debuts in the role of older sister.
