Antonio Tejado, nephew of María del Monte, has been one of the eight arrested by the Civil Guard in an operation against a network dedicated to robberies with violence and intimidation in homes in the Aljarafe region of Seville.
The arrests took place a few hours ago in Seville and nearby municipalities and served to arrest the alleged members of the gang, among whom would be Antonio Tejado, whose aunt suffered an assault in her home in Gines months ago.
The Civil Guard statement explains that the device has acted against an “active organization dedicated to robberies with violence and intimidation inside homes in the Aljarafe region.”
In the eleven searches in the capital of Seville and in the towns of Guillena and Brenes, the arrest of at least eight people was reported as alleged members of the dismantled gang involved in numerous robberies.
In the Aljarafe area of ??Seville in recent months there has been an increase in home robberies, like the one that footballer Sergio Ramos also suffered in September at his home in Bollullos de la Mitación (Seville).
Those arrested will be brought to justice this Monday in the Prado courts in San Sebastián after the forceful police operation.
