The presentations of Formula 1 cars continue. After the announcement of Fernando Alonso’s new Aston Martin, Ferrari this morning revealed the car that Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc will drive in the 2024 season. It is the SF-24, a car with modifications and news with which the Spanish driver will face his last season in the ‘Scuderia’, after learning about Hamilton’s signing for 2025.
Sainz evaluated the car with which he will try to get closer to the Red Bulls in 2024: “When I saw the ‘SF-24’ for the first time I wanted to get in it and start the engine… I can’t wait to drive it on the track to check, as the simulator shows, which is the step forward that we all want,” he said in statements provided by Ferrari.
“The objective is to have a more manageable car and therefore with a constant race pace, which are the basic requirements to be able to fight for victory,” he said. “We pilots did everything possible to give precise information to the technicians and I am sure that the engineers working in Maranello will have met our needs,” added the Madrid native.
The pilots will have to wait a few days to do their first tests with the new ‘Prancing Horse’, although they will be before the official tests in Bahrain for commercial reasons. For the moment, Ferrari has shared different images of the car.
