In recent years, there have been many well-known characters whose lives have been represented in films or television series. La Veneno, Griselda, Miguel Bosé, and very soon Yurena, are some of these celebrities who have their own biopic. Something that can be a recognition that many others would like to have.

Two years ago, the development of a documentary series based on the life of Ana García Obregón was publicly announced. The producer of Tell Me How It Happened, Grupo Ganga, announced the news in 2022. However, the actress’s plans could be truncated due to the decisions she has made over the last two years.

“We are very grateful to Ana Obregón for allowing us to share something as intimate as her experiences. Her life is an example of improvement and perseverance,” said Javier Cuadrado, the group’s manager. So much so, that in the piece published on the production company’s official website they called the actress “one of the figures most loved by the Spanish public.”

Now, Informalia has revealed that the project “is not confirmed”, as reported by Grupo Ganga itself. A decision that could have been affected by the controversies in which the actress has been involved with the arrival of Ana Sandra and the Aless Lequio foundation, according to the aforementioned medium.

At the time when the development of this biopic came to light, it would still be a year before the scandal broke out over the arrival of Ana Obregón’s granddaughter through surrogacy. Something that has occupied all the magazine covers and countless hours of television.

In turn, the actress’s reputation has been diminished by the latest information about her donations to the foundation that bears the name of her deceased son. The presenter had not yet contributed the money she promised, something that blew everything up, although she has already clarified it. “She may have changed her mind at a given moment, that is her moral question,” said Alessandro Lequio.

Although it is not yet known exactly what will end up happening with this biopic, if one thing is certain, it is that Ana Obregón was very happy with its development at first. “I am returning to television fiction. I am excited to be able to share with everyone that I have decided to return. I have reached an agreement with one of the best production companies in Spain,” she said in 2022.

“It was difficult for me to understand that no one was betting on my life, since my only merit is having worked for 40 years on my passion and having shared with all of you for many years an enormous collection of sweet and bitter moments, of lights and shadows,” he added. Now, it is not surprising that she is saddened by not being able to carry out this project, at least for the moment.
