Valentine’s Day 2022 was the date set by the then fashionable couple, Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro, to share the first images of their impressive farmhouse in Manresa. A modernist mansion that they had acquired as part of their joint future plans, but as we all know two years later, they are already a thing of the past.
A property whose price was estimated at that time to be close to two million euros and which was believed to have been purchased by the singer or, in any case, by the couple together. Nothing further, since it is now known that Rauw Alejandro appears as the sole owner of the property, and it is still listed in his name despite his breakup with the Catalan artist.
The mansion in question is La Morera, a huge farmhouse in Manresa where the couple planned to establish their “base” in Spain. A property surrounded by nature that is also a Cultural Asset of Local Interest (BCIN) in the area, with comprehensive protection by the local heritage commission.
Designed by the Catalan architect Ignasi Oms i Ponsa, an essential figure of the Catalan modernist movement of the early 20th century, the property has 3,815 m², distributed in a main house with eight complete suites, a modern kitchen, two living rooms and a wine cellar; and four more complete homes, as well as an area of ??stables.
It is not very clear what the plans that the Puerto Rican has for the property are, since he initially bought it after Rosalía became attached to the mansion and advised him to make the investment to form a future with his then partner. What’s more, it was precisely in La Morera where the artists announced their engagement in March 2023.
The couple’s breakup came in July of that same year, and the enormous property has remained in the hands of the Puerto Rican since then. A house that was even left as a last resort to recover the one in Sant Esteves des Rosvires, even requesting the relevant building permits to be able to begin the renovations of the house. As he wrote in his Hayami Hana song: “I’ll finish our little house in case you want to come back.”
While the house remains in place and with no one to visit it, the couple has begun to establish their separate lives. After their high-profile breakup, both have rebuilt their lives, with more or less stability.
The Catalan artist seems to be enjoying the beginnings of a budding new relationship with actor Jeremy Allen White, star of The Bear.
Rauw Alejandro, for his part, has been traveling halfway around the world. He returned for a long time to his native country, spent a long vacation in Jamaica, visited Brazil… If he had a girlfriend in each port, no one knows; Yes, he could be seen very well accompanied by a spectacular French model just a few days ago.
