One more day, today, the dawn has allowed us to enjoy moments that are a gift for photography lovers, as shown in this image taken in Badalona for La Vanguardia’s Readers’ Photos.
And of course, the saying that we have heard from our ancestors comes to mind. In some towns they say the phrase from the title with which I named this photograph: “Cel a cabretes, aigua a les bassetes.”
The meaning is the possibility of rain, but in small amounts. And today that was not the case, nothing of water! The damn drought has no mercy…
Little sheep normally predict a change in weather. In fact, the saying goes: “Heavy sky, wet before three days” (in Catalan, “al cel cabretes i al terra pastetes”).
The special texture that clouds acquire in the sky makes it popularly resemble a surface between brick or cotton.
