What seemed like an isolated but unpleasant incident has become the focus of an even more uncomfortable media case. It was last August when María del Monte and Inmaculada Casal were attacked by a large group in their mansion in Gines, in the province of Seville. Months later, the dismantling of the Portuguese gang has uncovered the involvement of her nephew, Antonio Tejado, in the case.
The arrest of the former television collaborator has unleashed a hurricane of reactions, responses, breaking news pieces, accusations and revelations by the police cars. However, one of these last dropper replicas has generated debate on TardeAR, the Telecinco program presented by Ana Rosa Quintana. As reported exclusively this Wednesday afternoon, Inmaculada Casal would like to withdraw the complaint about the August robbery.
Leticia Requejo assured that this possibility arose on Monday night, after the couple had a conversation in which they discussed the latest news of the day. It was a proposal from Casal after seeing how the Civil Guard had become involved in the investigation. This situation would not conflict with the possibility of addressing the case as a private accusation, which had already been uncovered this morning. Let’s see.
“They are going to take an active part. We will see when the trial occurs what position is taken. The first version is that he wants justice. It seems that they are serious and going for it,” explained Sandra Aladro after information published in El Diario de Sevilla, which also highlighted that Francisco Baena Bocanegra would be in charge of representing the couple in this case. Another contribution has come from Isabel Rábago.
“The absolute priority, right now, is to get him out on bail,” the collaborator insisted. For his part, Antonio Tejado’s defense lawyer has categorically denied that there were any prepaid telephones, key in the coordination of the groups, among the objects seized by the Civil Guard. Francisco Fernández Velo commented that no jewel or object in particular that could be associated with the crime was found either. “Absolutely nothing was found at Antonio Tejado’s house,” he noted.
In his words, the images distributed by the Civil Guard to the media and that they have shared in recent hours do not correspond to Antonio Tejado’s home, criticizing some sources for associating them in this way with his house. “That is flatly false, just a few seconds of the video and the exterior door of Antonio Tejado’s house can be seen, just that,” the lawyer insisted.
