In the midst of so many people buying roses and searching through the book stalls for some of their favorite authors, photographers try to capture the essence of this celebration with spontaneous images of passersby. A challenge that the photojournalist Jordi Borràs has achieved with the most romantic image of Sant Jordi, which has gone viral and has uncovered a secret relationship.

This is explained by Clara Molins, deputy editor of Via lliure and sister of the protagonist of the image, Toni Molins, who in a statement to La Vanguardia has shared how her family reacted when they found out about her brother’s secret relationship and how he assures that it did not happen. He realized that he was being photographed while melting into the kiss.
Viral image. As Clara Molins explains, she was eating with her parents when she saw the image for the first time: “A journalist friend sent me the photograph that she had seen in the media and then on Twitter,” she begins by explaining to La Vanguardia, ensuring that her brother has not yet He had explained to them that he had a girlfriend.
Secret relationship. “We learned about their relationship thanks to the photo because he has not yet presented it to us. We just discovered that she has a partner. He has kept this relationship a secret because they have only been seeing each other for a short time, he has been seeing each other for a few weeks or a month and he has not explained much to us,” she confesses.
The reaction. Clara Molins assures that her family has taken the anecdote with great humor and although they have already been able to meet Toni’s new partner through the image, they do not want to put pressure on meeting her in person: “We respect her times for when she wants to introduce her to us.” officially.
