The last few hours have been very hard for María del Monte, who has seen how the Civil Guard has arrested her nephew Antonio Tejado for being involved in the criminal gang that attacked the singer’s house just a few months ago.
Today De Viernes has had access to María del Monte’s testimony before the court in which she recounted the brutality of the assailants when they found her in her house and wanted to steal as much loot as possible.
The first thing the thieves said to María was “open the safe in three minutes or we will kill someone,” a threat that the Andalusian artist took very seriously, but despite her cooperation, she did not escape the violence of the assailants.
“They tied me with the cell phone charger against the bed. “They squeeze my head against the pillow every twenty seconds,” explained María’s wife, Inmaculada Casal, in court as testimony of the events.
For her part, Inmaculada’s daughter also told her version: “They took me to the dressing room where the safe was. They told me to open it. Since I couldn’t do it, they took me to the basement,” she explained.
Journalist Nacho Abad has revealed more details of the investigation: “The one they give the most is the husband of María del Monte’s daughter. They attack Inmaculada against the bed on several occasions, trying not to let her breathe, she is savagely mistreated.
