This Sunday, February 18, Isabel Preysler will blow out 73 candles on a birthday that promises to be anything but ordinary. At least for what she is. The glamorous socialite has decided to change tradition and, instead of a large gala with a crowd of people, she will opt for a much smaller but equally endearing gathering at her residence in Madrid.

This year, therefore, the party is going to have a very special feature, since Preysler will share the celebration of his birthday with Álvaro Castillejo, his nephew who will turn 36, turning this day into a double and intimate family joy.

The news has been confirmed by her daughter, Tamara Falcó, who, between preparations for a fashion show, revealed that “it is not a special birthday, it is not round. She wants to do it at home. In addition, it is also my birthday cousin and we will celebrate it as a family, very calmly.

Despite this relaxed atmosphere, not all members of the Preysler clan will be able to join the matriarch’s party. The Marchioness of Griñón, in this sense, has indicated that, although her brothers are about to arrive in Spain, they will not do so in time for her mother’s birthday.

This year, in view of the fact that there will be some inevitable absences, Preysler’s birthday celebration will be attended by the Marchioness of Griñón, her husband Íñigo Onieva, the birthday boy Castillejo and his wife, Cristina Fernández de Torres, among others.

The absence of some of her children is not a minor detail, taking into account the extensive and dispersed family that Isabel has formed over the years. Despite having children and grandchildren spread all over the world, from Miami to Qatar, the queen of hearts has managed to keep family ties together despite the distance. Additionally, she is especially happy because Ana Boyer is expecting her third child.
