Awards season continues. Next Sunday, February 18, the Royal Festival Hall at the Southbank Center in London will host the British Academy Film Awards 2024, popularly known as the BAFTA Awards, in what is its 77th version. After announcing the nominees in mid- January, this week we will be able to witness the awards ceremony.
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards will take place at 1:00 p.m. (Spanish time) on Sunday, and will be broadcast on the TCM channel and the BBC iPlayer. This year it will also be broadcast on the official BAFTA social networks on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or YouTube.
The evening will be presented by actor David Tennant, who will be in charge of the ceremony where Oppenheimer is presented as the great favorite. In addition, ‘Sociedad de la Snow’, directed by the Spanish J. A. Bayona, is also among the favorites to compete for the non-English film category
