It has been a week since a judge decided to decree provisional prison for Antonio Tejado for allegedly being the intellectual author of the robbery at his aunt María del Monte’s house. The reality show contestant was arrested, along with eight other people, for his alleged involvement in a gang of Portuguese origin that was responsible for robbing houses in Aljarafe (Seville).

Since then, numerous pieces of information have emerged about the case that have kept this issue in the media spotlight. After these days sleeping behind bars, it has now come to light under what conditions he is doing so. Something that has left the accused’s mother, María José, totally “defeated.”

As Antonio Tejado’s lawyer has revealed, the collaborator “is well and calm”, as reported in the program Let’s see. So much so, that he could request “the voluntary statement of his client to tell her version of the events.”

And now he has managed to calm down, in part, thanks to his mother’s visit in prison. It is not surprising that until then she has been in tension in the module that she now has to consider her home until the trial takes place.

Antonio Tejado is in the Seville prison in “a module for prisoners who are not conflictive, so he is protected and living in a cell measuring 6 by 3 square meters,” as explained in the Fiesta program. With this, it seems that, for the moment, the collaborator would not have problems with his module colleagues.

Likewise, they did not hesitate to reveal more details about the cell where he has been for a week: “There is only room for a bunk bed, a table and a toilet that does not even have a door, conditions that Tejado is not used to.” Knowing this, it is not surprising that the detainee’s mother is trying to do everything possible so that she is acquitted in the case.

The investigation continues and last Friday the first statement took place before the María del Monte judge. The Seville newspaper revealed the singer’s story of that day when several hooded men entered at 5 in the morning to take the loot of almost a million euros. “Open the safe in three minutes or we’ll kill someone,” the robbers told her, she said.

“They tied me to the bed with my cell phone charger. They squeezed my head against the pillow every twenty seconds. I couldn’t see what was happening. They took me to the dressing room where the safe was. They told me to open it, but since I couldn’t To do so they took me to the basement,” he added. Some events that still hurt him to remember due to the harshness of what happened. Given this, he still has to see what will end up happening with Antonio Tejado.
