The arrest of Antonio Tejado accused of belonging to a criminal gang that had carried out different robberies in the Seville area, among which was the assault on María del Monte’s house, has placed the former television collaborator in the spotlight.
For a week, Tejado has been in prison without bail awaiting trial due to his alleged involvement in different robberies as the ‘intellectual author’ of them. According to what was initially known, the 36-year-old man was very nervous after being arrested, but his brother Chema clarified days later to the press that he is “calm.”
As a result of Tejado’s arrest and imprisonment, countless friends, family, ex-partners and ex-colleagues of the former Big Brother Duo contestant have spoken about their experience with the man.
This afternoon, the program And Now Sonsoles received Gaby Sánchez, one of Tejado’s ex-partners, who explained what their romantic relationship was like. The young woman has been honest and explained that Tejado believed himself to be an important person and that both he and his group of friends walked around Seville with pride: “He and his entire gang felt totally unpunished, like the Kings of Seville. Seville was them (…) He was moving in a conflictive environment and things were not going to end well.”
The girl explained in the program presented by Sonsoles Ónega that Tejado became infatuated with her and that he seduced her during the pandemic. However, at one point in the relationship, things went wrong and Tejado began to get aggressive with her: ”I had to record him.”
”I had to leave his house. I was afraid. I had to call a person who was in Madrid to listen to everything and leave the phone open. I left, it was night, one of her friends accompanied me… Because of how she saw Antonio, she didn’t want me to be alone in the house,’ the girl pointed out.
Sánchez has explained to Sonsoles Ónega and his collaborators that when they were together Tejado did not frequently talk about his aunt, so he seriously doubts that they had a very close relationship.
Gaby has expressed on the set of Antena 3 that Tejado was one person during the day (affectionate, attentive, charming) and another at night and that he got angry when she rejected some of his sexual fantasies, which he defined as “very rare”: ”Things I’ve never seen”.
