A decade ago, Bridgit Mendler was a Disney girl who never stopped adding hits. The television programs that she was a part of on the children’s network such as Good Luck, Charlie! and Wizards of Waverly Place marked an entire generation.

This Monday, he surprised everyone with news that he shared through his LinkedIn account: he co-founded Northwood, a startup company dedicated to the construction of satellite stations.
Starting this week, Bridgit will begin her role as CEO. As the actress explained, the company’s mission is to create “a data highway between Earth and space.”
Mendler has been working for years on this project that she was finally able to bring to light, along with her husband Griffin Cleverly, whom she met while working at MIT.
The ambitious company the couple founded is backed by large venture investment firms such as Founders Fund, Andreessen Horowitz and Also Capital.
“We have a lot of work ahead of us, but that’s the fun part,” the Lemonade Mouth actress wrote through her social networks. In the same publication, she invited her followers to join the Northwood team, which has several job searches open.
After Good Luck Charlie! ended, Bridgit began a turbulent relationship with Shane Harper, who was also her on-screen boyfriend. Years later, and thanks to her change of career, Bidgit found love. She married MIT engineer Griffin Cleverly in 2019 and celebrated with a small, intimate ceremony on the beach.
