The TecnoCampus companies will once again have a presence at 4YFN, the reference event in innovation held within the framework of the Mobile World Congress. TecnoCampus will have its own stand in the startups pavilion, from February 26 to 28. A total of ten technology companies will be represented at this stand: Aims Medical, Bambai, Cocopool, Drivi mobility solutions, Handpoem, Leviathan creative Studio, Scrads, Sweanty, Vizitio and Winahost.
All of these companies work in areas such as the development of technologies, artificial intelligence, IOT, big data, mobile, additive printing, augmented reality and virtual reality and ICT. At the TecnoCampus stand they will be able to exhibit their innovations and will have the opportunity to connect with international investors, as well as find partners and clients.
One of the companies that is repeating at 4YFN is Cocopool, which already participated in the event last year presenting its marketplace for renting private pools by the hour. As defined by its CEO, Gerard of friends for a certain period of time. The most common use is for celebrations such as birthdays, barbecues, baby showers, etc.
As Xalabardé explains, participation in last year’s 4YFN helped them give visibility to their project and make it known. For this edition, the objective has been to reach companies, a target that is added to that of families and private groups to whom this service is directed. For companies, renting private pools offers a different space for afterwork activities and other types of team events.
Cocopool was born to help pool owners who must continue to maintain them despite using them very rarely during the year. Xalabardé comes from a company specialized in the manufacture and distribution of chemical products for swimming pools, so he already knew the sector.
He assures that, despite the drought situation, the majority of owners “have already learned from last year and have not emptied the pool during the winter. Taking care of and keeping the pool always full is better for both the drought and the planet (not they have to be filled again every year) and for the owner’s pocket (he does not pay for the water to arrive again and he avoids the damage caused by climatic conditions to an empty pool during the winter, cracks in the walls, floor… “, he explains. In this sense, Cocopool aims to “create the largest and most accessible network of swimming pools/climate shelters in the country.”
From this year’s 4YFN, those responsible for Cocopool also hope to be able to “start establishing contacts for a financing round.” The company aims to expand the team and deseasonalize the business-
“We hope that participation in 4YFN will allow us to contact investors who are interested in our project both to invest and to help us scale it,” says Xalabardé.
Another of the startups that will participate in the event is Vizitio, a Marketplace that was created with the objective of unifying the entire offer of activities and experiences that take place in a municipality to facilitate their purchase and reservation. According to its CEO, Xavier Sancho, you can currently find portals very focused on topics such as tourism, nature or scape rooms, but there are no sites where general information on all types of activities that can be carried out in the same city is concentrated and facilitate your reservation. “We want to provide a solution to this need,” explains Sancho.
Vizitio offers providers the opportunity to publish their experience or activity on the platform so that users can purchase it. The project, started four months ago, is still “getting started,” according to Sancho, and its participation in 4YFN can “help us find connectors, people who help us improve the platform” and allow them to come into contact with suppliers.
