Survivientes 2024 is about to start a new season on Telecinco, with its premiere scheduled for the first half of March, although the exact date has not yet been announced. It is known that Jorge Javier Vázquez will return to television after his failure with Chinese Tales to continue leading the popular survival format, which he will continue to feature with Laura Madrueño in Honduras.
Little by little, some of the official contestants of this edition have been revealed. So far five names were known, but in ¡De Viernes! The sixth castaway has been announced, ready to live the greatest adventure of his life. And it is one of the highlights of the edition.
As revealed in the program, Ángel Cristo Jr. is the new signing of Survivientes. He is the son of the tamer Ángel Cristo and the star Bárbara Rey. In recent months he has returned to the public scene to shed light on his controversial family. In a series of interviews he revealed dark details of family dynamics and left Rey in a bad light, whom he accused of being a bad mother.
Although he has had some health problems, it seems that Cristo Jr. is fully prepared to travel to Honduras: “A few months ago I decided to talk about my life and there have been many people who did not like it. Everyone has had their opinion about me and, really, no one has spent time with me or knows me.”
This long-awaited return to Cayos Cochinos will feature a cast of celebrities who, waiting for more to be confirmed, have some of their names confirmed by the Mediaset network:
As is normal at this stage of the contest, names keep coming up. That does not mean that they are finally going to pack their bags for Honduras, since it would not be the first time that they are only rumors or, in the event that there is some truth, it falls out at the last minute.
Among the characters that are sounding the loudest are Carmen Borrego, who has been in the pools of the past editions, or Aurah Ruiz, known for being Jesé’s partner and having already been in other reality shows on the network.
However, in recent days Kike Calleja has begun to gain strength. The reporter, one of the authoritative voices in the heart sector, seems to have been gaining strength to become a survivor this year.
