Ana Borges, on her first day as a street reporter for Radio MARCA, had to cover the farmers’ protests in an unconventional way: riding a tractor. Her intention was to offer a unique vision of the demonstration that was taking place in Madrid.
However, her good intentions ended in an accident in the heart of the capital, as the tractor on which she was riding collided with another tractor. This anecdote has gone viral on social networks thanks to another video that shows the crash from another point of view.
During the tractor rally, Borges shared his experience live, expressing his excitement and satisfaction at being reporting from a tractor: “It’s the first time I’m going out on the streets with MARCA and the last thing I expected was to be on a tractor in Madrid.”
However, what seemed like a normal and ordinary report, which was going to come out without any problem, took a surprise turn when the tractor in which Borges was traveling got too close to the one in front of him, perhaps at a higher speed than it should have. and did not stop in time, causing a collision. The reasons are unknown but everything seems to indicate an oversight.
The driver of the tractor, clearly upset by the incident, could not help but curse: “God, I’m damned, how stupid I am.” Borges, for his part, tried to remain calm and console the driver, although his voice gave away. some concern: “Well, nothing happens.”
The best of all is that a video recorded by a person who was on the street and who was just recording the moment the crash occurred has been posted on Although Borges said that nothing was happening, in the clip you can clearly see how the tractor in front did suffer some damage.
Fortunately, the mishap was nothing more than a scare. As Marca has assured, both Ana Borges and the tractor drivers were unharmed.
