A 16-year-old boy was injured yesterday when his motorcycle collided with a wild boar while traveling on the CV-855 highway, in the municipality of Elx.
As reported by the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU), the incident occurred this Sunday morning, around 9:10 a.m.
A SAMU unit moved to the area, whose medical team stabilized the motorcyclist, who had multiple trauma. Subsequently, the injured man was transferred to the General Hospital of Elche in the Advanced Life Support ambulance.
The CV-855 is the road that runs between Elx and Dolores, to the south, bordering, among other places, the archaeological site of La Alcudia and the El Hondo natural park, a wetland classified as a special protection area for birds due to its relevance and abundance of its birdlife, where the presence of wild boars is not strange.
