The Kings have visited Valencia this afternoon to accompany the victims of the Campanar fire and express their condolences. In the early afternoon they went to the Palau de la Música, accompanied by the president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Carlos Mazón, the mayoress of Valencia, María Jose Catalá, and the delegate of the Government, Pilar Bernabé.
There has been a meeting with those affected; an intimate meeting of more than an hour. To then move to the vicinity of the building, where the emergency teams and professionals who worked on extinguishing and caring for the victims were waiting for the greeting of the Kings. Hundreds of people, neighbors and onlookers, were waiting to see them from the Maestro Rodrigo roundabout, where many people have placed flowers in memory of the deceased.
They have greeted and thanked the agents of the Local Police, the Valencia Fire Department and the Provincial Consortium, the National Police, the UME, the Regional Police, Emergencies, technicians from the Institute of Forensic Medicine, the Red Cross, judges and lawyers from the administration of justice, the Victim Care Office, the emergency care service, City Council technicians, social services, property registrars, the NGO Valientes and Mercadona.
