National Police Agents arrested a man for stealing a watch using violence at the exit of a hotel near the Catalan Police Headquarters, on Via Laietana.
The victim was about to take a taxi with his family when he was intercepted by the aggressor, who grabbed him hard on the wrist, causing the watch chain to break and the victim to fall to the ground.
The security agents were alerted by the proximity of the hotel to the Superior Headquarters of Justice, who, alerted by the screams of the neighbors, went after it. After a chase, the young man was intercepted, very upset, screaming and with a very violent attitude towards the police officers.
The victim was given assistance although he did not need the help of medical services, and the victim’s watch was also recovered. The agents arrested the aggressor for an alleged crime of robbery with violence and intimidation, he is at judicial disposal.
