Sam Smith is one of the most relevant artists of recent years. Songs like Stay With Me or I’m not the only one have become real hits, and if one thing has become clear, it is the great command he has of the stage. Now, we have also learned that the catwalks are not bad at all either. The singer, 31, made a surprise appearance at Vivienne Westwood’s Fall/Winter 2024 show during Paris Fashion Week on Saturday. And he was not as an artist, but as a model.
In images from the show, the Unholy singer can be seen wearing a green long-sleeved V-neck blouse under a red plaid shawl jacket. The look was paired with what appeared to be a high-waisted green plaid skirt, red plaid knee-high socks, and olive green plaid platform boots. A style that did not go unnoticed and that her fans are sure to comment on at this time. The singer’s look on the catwalk was complemented by a green checkered headband and waist-length hair extensions, which fell over the artist’s shoulder. On the other hand, he paraded with a rustic brown cane in his hand.
But that was not all. The artist also paraded in a second look, consisting of a black polka dot top, a floor-length black jacket with a material that appeared to be shredded and braided into a design. Hints of Smith’s skin could be seen among the fabric. The singer’s look was completed with a black hat with a mesh veil.
After the show, the fashion brand shared a photo on Instagram of all the models, including Smith, posing together in their looks. In the image, the Grammy winner could be seen wearing a large black hat and white makeup under his eyes as he smiled at the camera.
It is not the first time that the artist wears outfits from the Vivienne Westwood brand. At the British Fashion Awards in December, he wore a custom-made jacket and black plaid skirt by Andreas Kronthaler for Vivenne Westwood. Smith later donned a signature taffeta dress with dramatic puff sleeves and a long train as she accepted the Cultural Innovator award and performed her song HIM at the awards show.
