Spanish television is preparing to welcome two new stars into its constellation of talents. Victoria Federica de Marichalar y Borbón and Genoveva Casanova will join the squad for the next edition of El Desafío, the challenges and skills program presented by Roberto Leal on Antena 3.

This announcement, revealed by Pablo Motos, host of El Hormiguero and part of the production team along with Jorge Salvador, has been a television earthquake. In this sense, the Valencian communicator commented in the last program how the interest generated by these signings has affected his daily life: “The World Cup has gotten messy. I was eating in a restaurant with some friends and, suddenly, when I came out, there was paparazzi”.

This phenomenon was not limited to him, since Jorge Salvador, co-producer of the program, also experienced some similar situations: “Salvador, when he went home last night, he had paparazzi… We felt a little like you,” he told him. Motos to Tamara Falcó, who admitted that media attention on her has decreased in recent months after her relationship with Íñigo Onieva no longer generates as many headlines.

Salvador, when asked how these unexpected signings were managed, revealed interesting details. Regarding Casanova, he said that it had been closed “almost a year ago.” “We were talking to her last season, and when the season ended, we closed the agreement for this one,” he acknowledged. Regarding the Mexican’s preparation, he noted that “she has been training with us for a week, she is great, she comes to the set with such a big smile that it is a pleasure to see her.”

The producer also recounted the meticulous planning to keep Casanova’s involvement a secret, mentioning that “until a few days ago we didn’t even tell the team… We called her Miss of the program.

For her part, Victoria Federica, niece of King Felipe VI, is showing extraordinary dedication in her preparation for the contest: “She has been training for a month, also doing spectacular tests. She has been asking me for a month to do tests that she sees in the program and that she does not We were thinking of giving him because some were risky, and he is so brave that he is asking for them,” Salvador shared. In this sense, he highlighted his proactivity and courage for putting himself on the line.

This great attitude has made a positive impression on the production team. Salvador highlighted that he “has fallen in love with the entire team because of the attitude he has.” Furthermore, unlike other contestants, Infanta Elena’s daughter is showing great independence, arriving alone at the tests and “without anyone special”, which reinforces the perception of her exceptional character. This signing, as Motos has said, has also been agreed upon for a year.
