The Artisan and Catalan Cheese Forum is a gastronomic, fair, festive and professional event about artisanal and Catalan cheese.

According to the organization, “it aims to be a meeting point for the cheese sector and cheese lovers and, at the same time, a space intended to create synergies with more professional audiences, cheese prescribers.”

This event is being held this weekend in the Devesa toilet in Girona and we have visited it in La Vanguardia’s Readers’ Photos.

This Forum was born from the hand of the Catalan Association of Farmers and Artisan Cheese Makers (ACREFA), an entity with 40 years of history that currently brings together 80 artisanal cheeseries from all over the Catalan territory.

This year, the fair had the participation of 42 cheese factories and more than 200 different products, as well as foods from the Girona Excel·lent label, DO Empordà wines and craft beers.
