Elon Musk plans to defend the Tesla Cybertruck to the end. The American magnate downplays the delays in deliveries, the doubts about its approval in some markets, the extra production costs and the problems that have arisen in its bodywork, which seems to rust when it rains, according to several owners.

In order to defend his electric pickup, he gets into fights with anyone on social media. Musk’s latest encounter with a user came after a photograph was published on X (a social network he also owns) reporting a new accident, which occurred last Sunday.

In the image, the Tesla Cybertruck is seen embedded against the iconic Beverly Hills hotel entrance in California (USA). User and journalist Mario Nawfal was ironic: “I don’t think you can find more Hollywood than this photo.”

Although it did not give more details of the accident and did not explain whether what was promised as an “indestructible” vehicle had suffered damage to the body.

Musk did not think twice to respond. “Cyberbeast is faster than a Porsche 911, but it looks like a truck, so perhaps the valet wasn’t expecting so much acceleration,” he responded in a comment, through this social network. Once again, the tycoon came out in defense of one of his riskiest bets.

However, it is not clear that the car was in charge at the time by a hotel employee. On the contrary, some media such as InsideEvs or Teslarati claim that it was the owner who was driving the vehicle when the accident occurred.

But the tycoon does not seem to care about the circumstances in which the accident occurred. On the contrary, he took advantage of the incident to show off the benefits of his electric pickup, focusing on another vehicle, the Porsche 911.

According to a Tesla promotional video, its vehicle has greater speed than this Porsche in question. It manages to complete the quarter mile (about 400 meters) in less than 11 seconds and accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour (about 96 km/h) in just 2.6 seconds, in addition to crossing the finish line even towing another car .
