If Cayetano Rivera has shown anything over the years, it is that he has no problem defending his ideals. This has been demonstrated in the last few hours after publicly attacking the actress Georgina Amorós through his social networks. The Catalan actress, 25 years old, published an image on her Instagram profile that she has starred in for ‘Peta’ (an organization that fights for animal rights, ‘People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’), in the who appears posing naked surrounded by bulls and a calf hanging behind her back.
The image has given a lot to talk about. “I join Peta to end animal abuse. Let’s create a world in which all living beings are treated with respect and compassion. Bullfights are a thing of the past, they must disappear,” Georgina writes in the publication shared on networks . It was then that the young woman received a lot of criticism, one of them from one of the most renowned bullfighters in Spain.
Cayetano, unable to contain his opinion, commented on the young woman’s publication without mincing words, criticizing the use of ‘photoshop’ to illustrate the animals. “Photoshop?? Whenever you want, I invite you to take a photo with real bulls…! Hypocrisy at the highest level,” stated the bullfighter. These words have created a wide debate on social networks between those who defend him and those who applaud Georgina Amorós.
But the truth is that Cayetano did not let the topic drop. After expressing his disagreement on Instagram, the bullfighter reappeared on “Georgina Amorós (peta) poses to criticize bullfights by making it appear that the bulls are docile, and they do it with photoshop because they don’t dare to take the photo with REAL bulls! Have you taken that calf home? ??”, he stated.
After this debate, there are many users who wanted to remind Cayetano that it is not about photoshop, but about animal rights. “Master (as some call you, I don’t know what), the important thing is not the photo itself, it is the message, easy and clear: NO to animal torture, it doesn’t matter if they are brave or docile. This is not art, it is massacre,” says one Internet user. However, others defend him. “Why not a photo with real bulls? Fear? Don’t sell lies!! Go hug them and see how close they get!” says another user.
