Every night, Telediario 2 is responsible for bringing current events to the viewers of La 1 de Televisión Española through Marta Carazo. The presenter is in charge of introducing a wide range of topics, among which is the classic weather forecast.

The person in charge of the weather section is Silvia Laplana, who experienced a funny scene this Wednesday. “Good night. Starting tomorrow we will have a little rougher weather in the north, with some more precipitation,” Laplana pointed out, taking the baton from her partner.

The weather expert made use of several maps projected on large screens on the set, something common among journalists to explain the weather forecast. The surprise came at the end of the news.

Upon reaching the preview of the symbol maps for Friday, Laplana encountered an incident: someone had forgotten to paint the map of Spain, so the screen exclusively showed clouds and suns on an invisible map.

“Well, now what we need is the map,” says the weather woman, laughing. “But hey, we have the symbols.” Willing to save the situation, Silvia Laplana decided to continue: “In the north, with some rainfall (…) Imagine it. Use your imagination,” she states with complete naturalness.
